I got the same problem and I found a solution.
Windows thinks that some audio CD exists in my empty BD drive. Default action for AudioCD is Mediaplayer. I just turned off this action and WMP doesn t run at startup anymore.
But there s another question to Microsoft Why empty BD drive appears as audio CD.
